ANÁLISE DA FORÇA DA MUSCULATURA RESPIRATÓRIA DE IDOSOS INSTITUCIONALIZADOS EM TEIXEIRA DE FREITAS – BAHIA
A Doença de Alzheimer é uma
demência predominantemente senil de
prevalência aumentada nos últimos anos e que
pode estar relacionada ao desenvolvimento
concomitante de depressão, redução de auto
cuidados e prejuízos na auto-imagem. O Silício
compõe a estrutura do colágeno, elastina,
proteoglicanas e glicoproteínas, que são
responsáveis pela estrutura de sustentação da
derme. Com o envelhecimento e a alteração
dos níveis hormonais há diminuição do silício
biodisponível e a pele mostra os primeiros
sinais de envelhecimento se tornando fina,
desvitalizada e enrugada, podendo ser
submetida à sua reposição através de uso tópico
e oral. O estudo teve como objetivo observar
os efeitos do uso tópico do silício por meio
de cosmético no rejuvenescimento facial em
portadores de Doença de Alzheimer. Para isso,
foram selecionados por meio de convite pessoal,
participantes do projeto “Mente Ativa” com
Doença de Alzheimer de grau leve a moderado
com sinais de envelhecimento cutâneo. Foram
realizadas oito sessões, com frequência de
uma sessão semanal e duração de 30 minutos.
Antes e após cada procedimento foi aplicado o
teste LEA-RI que identifica o estado de ânimo.
Os resultados foram registrados por meio de
registro fotográfico e do teste de ânimo. Pôdese
observar através do teste LEA-RI mudanças
relacionadas à autoestima e ao bem-estar. Por
meio dos registros fotográficos nota-se melhora
da textura, revitalização e nutrição tecidual,
preenchimento das rugas como consequência
da hidratação e clareamento das hipercromias.

Abstract:
Alzheimer’s disease is a
predominantly senile dementia of increased
prevalence in recent years and may be related
to the concomitant development of depression, reduced self-care, and self-image
impairment. Silicon makes up the structure of collagen, elastin, proteoglycans and
glycoproteins, which are responsible for the structure of the dermis. With the aging
and the alteration of the hormonal levels there is a decrease in the bioavailable silicon
and the skin shows the first signs of aging becoming thin, devitalized and wrinkled, and
can be submitted to its replacement through topical and oral use. The objective of the
study was to observe the effects of topical use of silicon by means of cosmetic in facial
rejuvenation in patients with Alzheimer’s disease. For this purpose, participants of the
“Active Mind” project with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease with signs of cutaneous
aging were selected through a personal invitation. Eight sessions were performed, with
a frequency of one weekly session and duration of 30 minutes. Before and after each
procedure the LEA-RI test was used to identify the mood. The results were recorded
through photographic record and mood test. Changes related to self-esteem and wellbeing
can be observed through the LEA-RI test. Through the photographic records it
is noticed an improvement of the texture, revitalization and tissue nutrition, filling of
the wrinkles as a consequence of the hydration and whitening of the hyperchromias.
