ANÁLISE DA CORRELAÇÃO ENTRE O LETRAMENTO EM SAÚDE E A ADESÃO FARMACOTERAPÊUTICA EM USUÁRIOS NA ESTRATÉGIA SAÚDE DA FAMÍLIA DE SOBRAL - CE

Na saúde, a dificuldade dos usuários em
seguir o tratamento de forma regular por não
compreenderem as orientações dos profissionais
é um desafio na autonomia da gestão da
condição da saúde. Esta pesquisa buscou obter
informações sobre os graus de letramento em
saúde e a adesão à terapia medicamentosa
entre pessoas com hipertensão e/ou diabetes. O
objetivo geral era analisar a correlação entre as
duas variáveis, testando a hipótese de quanto
menor o letramento em saúde, menor seria
a adesão farmacoterapêutica. Desenvolveuse
um estudo exploratório, de abordagem
quantitativa, de caráter observacional,
documental e transversal. A coleta de dados foi
realizada por meio de entrevistas e aplicação
do Teste de Letramento em Saúde (TLS) com
30 entrevistados. Encontrou-se que apenas 9%
apresentaram LS adequado, 14% limitado e
77% inadequado. Não foi possível estabelecer
correlação estatisticamente significativa entre o
LS e a adesão farmacoterapêutica e nem com
o número de anos estudados, porém há uma
tendência positiva na relação. Os resultados
indicam uma alta prevalência da não adesão
com possíveis impactos negativos para os
usuários e para a sociedade. Diante destes
dados, são necessárias estratégias que visem
potencializar o trabalho das equipes de saúde da
família, a simplificação do regime terapêutico e
a adequação da linguagem utilizada durante as
informações para aumentar a adesão e melhorar
as condições de saúde dessa população.

Abstract:
Literacy and Functional Literacy
differs in requiring skills beyond reading and
writing, requiring the ability of subjects to
interpret, process and apply information given
in different contexts of everyday life. In health,
the difficulty of users in following the treatment
of systematic and regular manner by not adequately understand the guidelines offered
by the professionals is one of the main challenges in health care. This survey sought
information on the degree of literacy in health and treatment adherence to the drug
therapy by a portion of population from Sobral, Ceará. The overall objective was to
analyze the correlation between the two variables, testing the hypothesis of the lower
health literacy, lower the pharmacotherapeutic membership. An analytic-descriptive
study was developed with the mixed approach and observational and cross-sectional
nature. Data collection was conducted through interviews and application of FLT in 30
patients users of hypertension and/or diabetes two CSF of Sobral. 9.1% had adequate
LS, 27.27% are limited and 77.27% are inappropriate. Unable to establish a statistically
significant correlation between the literacy in health and pharmacotherapeutic
membership, but there is a positive trend in the relationship. The results indicate a
high prevalence of non-adherence with possible damage to users and society impacts.
From these data, are necessary strategies aimed at enhancing the work of family
health teams, to simplify the treatment regimen and appropriateness of the language
used during minimization of this information to a public health problem.
