ANÁLISE DA COMPETITIVIDADE DO CLUSTER VINÍCOLA DA FRONTEIRA OESTE/RS ATRAVÉS DO MODELO TEÓRICO ZACCARELLI ET AL (2008)
A presente pesquisa tem por objetivo
analisar a geração de competitividade do cluster
vinícola da Fronteira Oeste/RS. Para tanto foi
realizada um estudo por meio do procedimento
técnico de estudo narrativo. Foi avaliada a
existência dos 11 fundamentos propostos pelo
modelo Zacarelli et al (2008) no agrupamento.
Utilizou-se duas fontes de dados, uma fonte
secundária por meio de pesquisa bibliográfica
e outra primária através de entrevistas com
gestores de organizações participantes desse
cluster. O cluster apresentou a existência de
apenas 4 fundamentos com um bom nível de
qualidade e outros 3 em um menor nível. Esses
dados indicam que este apresenta-se em um
estágio intermediário de evolução e geração de
competitividade, trazendo benefícios para as
empresas que o formam, porém ainda aquém de
suas possibilidades. Como limitações do estudo
destacam-se o fato da pesquisa bibliográfica
realizada não ser exaustiva e a utilização de
dados do município de Sant’Ana do Livramento/
RS como parâmetro para a Fronteira Oeste/RS.

Abstract:
This research aims to analyze
the generation of competitiveness of the
winery cluster of West Frontier/RS. For this
reason, it was performed a study through
technical procedures of narrative study. It was
analyzed the existence of eleven foundations
proposed by Zacarelli et al (2008) in the cluster.
Two data sources were used: secondary,
through a bibliographic research and primary,
through interviews which a managers of the
organizations which were participating in this
cluster. The cluster the existence of only 4
foundations with a good level of quality and other
3 with a lower level. These data indicate that the
winery cluster in West Frontier presents itself
as being at an intermediate stage of evolution
and competitiveness, bringing benefits to the
firms which are in it, however, being still in a low
position considering its potentials. As limitations
of the study, the fact that the bibliographic
research carried out is not exhaustive and the
use of data from Sant’Ana do Livramento/RS as
a parameter for West Frontier/RS.
