Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze coherence in texts produced by deaf high school students at a bilingual school (Portuguese/Libras) located in the Federal District. To do this, we taught the content of prepositions in synchronous classes, as well as developing some quiz-type activities and text production in a virtual environment. The research participants were thirteen deaf students and a teacher of Portuguese as a Second Language - LP as L2. To carry out this work, we used qualitative research methodology. Of the texts produced by the students, for the sake of length, we chose two to present here. Based on our theoretical framework, the research allowed us to identify the types of coherence, the main textual elements used, as well as the difficulties presented and the obstacles encountered in this process of seeking coherence.
