ANÁLISE DA APLICABILIDADE DO PRINCÍPIO DA PROVENIÊNCIA ASSOCIADO À REPRESENTAÇÃO DA INFORMAÇÃO ARQUIVÍSTICA NO ACERVO INTERMEDIÁRIO DO IFPB - CAMPUS JOÃO PESSOA
O objetivo do presente trabalho é
apresentar as contribuições da aplicação do
Princípio da Proveniência junto a Representação
da Informação Arquivística. Constitui-se como
pesquisa de campo com abordagem qualitativa
de natureza aplicada, quanto aos objetivos,
descritiva. Os Métodos utilizados foram:
levantamento bibliográfico sobre a temática,
leitura da bibliografia selecionada, observação
participante e estudo prático na Coordenação
de Arquivo Central do Instituto Federal de
Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia da Paraíba
– IFPB, Campus João Pessoa. Construiuse
a pesquisa no período de 2017-2018. O
resultado obtido dar-se na representação
efetiva das informações contidas nos dossiês
de alunos do fundo arquivístico CEFET-PB.
Essa representação construída promoveu a
inserção de informações representativas em
modelos de etiquetas para documentos. Sendo
assim, existem contribuições técnico-científicas
arquivísticas tangíveis nessa associação,
uma vez que se fará essa vinculação entre
teoria arquivística e prática em um acervo de
documentos. Conclui-se que, a atividade de

agregada ao Princípio da Proveniência em um
acervo de documentos, possibilita ao profissional
a realização de adequações em modelos de
etiquetas, sejam esses modelos para frentes de
caixa ou para representar informações de um
dossiê de aluno. Essas modificações podem
resultar numa representação mais significativa
das informações dos documentos, podendo
esse profissional inserir na etiqueta informações
que representem princípios da Arquivologia,
como o Princípio da Proveniência. Dessa forma,
associar as atividades arquivísticas técnicas
aos conhecimentos científicos da Arquivologia e
da Ciência da Informação é contribuir na busca
de soluções tangíveis para sanar problemas
encontrados em arquivos.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to present the contributions of the application
of the Principle of Provenience together with the Representation of Archival Information.
It is constituted as field research with a qualitative approach of applied nature, regarding
the objectives, descriptive. The methods used were: bibliographic survey on the
subject, reading the selected bibliography, participant observation and practical study
in the Central Archive Coordination of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and
Technology of Paraíba - IFPB, João Pessoa Campus. The research was built in the
period of 2017-2018. The result obtained is given in the effective representation of the
information contained in the student dossiers of the CEFET-PB archival fund. This builtin
representation promoted the insertion of representative information into document
label templates. Thus, there are tangible archival-scientific and technical contributions
to this association, since this linkage between archival theory and practice in a collection
of documents will be made. It is concluded that the activity of Representation of Archival
Information added to the Principle of Provenience in a collection of documents, allows
the professional to make adjustments in label templates, whether these templates for
cash fronts or to represent information from a dossier of student. Such modifications
may result in a more meaningful representation of the information in the documents, and
that professional may insert information on the label that represents the principles of
Archivology, such as the Principle of Provenience. In this way, associating the technical
archival activities with the scientific knowledge of the Archives and Information Science
is to contribute in the search of tangible solutions to solve problems found in archives.
