ANÁLISE DA ACURÁCIA DO PENSAMENTO CRÍTICO DO ENFERMEIRO INTENSIVISTA NA IDENTIFICAÇÃO DOS DIAGNÓSTICOS DE ENFERMAGEM
O pensamento crítico é uma dimensão da inteligência em enfermagem necessária para o processo diagnóstico, sendo assim com a identificação dos seus diagnósticos, o Enfermeiro irá desenvolver e exercitar o pensamento crítico acerca das condições de saúde do paciente, fundamentando, desta forma, cientificamente, a prescrição das ações de enfermagem necessárias para alcançar os resultados que se deseja obter. O presente estudo teve como objetivo analisar a acurácia do pensamento crítico do Enfermeiro na identificação dos diagnósticos de enfermagem (DE) dos pacientes de um CTI, através da inter-relação de seus componentes estruturais, segundo a NANDA-I. Trata-se de um estudo retrospectivo que utilizou como fonte de dados os Instrumentos para Investigação, Diagnóstico e Evolução de Enfermagem dos pacientes assistidos através da SAE, no período de Junho de 2007, em um CTI de Belo Horizonte-MG. Foi identificado um total de 333 diagnósticos a partir dos 113 Instrumentos, sendo que 59% (197) eram de Diagnósticos reais e 41% (136) de Diagnósticos de risco. Não foram identificados Diagnósticos de bem-estar. Em 22% (76) dos Instrumentos analisados, constatou-se que as características definidoras (sinais, sintomas e evidências científicas) e os fatores relacionados não estavam em consonância com a definição do Título diagnóstico (TD) proposto pela NANDA-I. A utilização dos DE possibilita o planejamento adequado da assistência de enfermagem através da interpretação correta e tomada de decisão acerca das necessidades de saúde do paciente. Para uma formulação diagnóstica precisa, torna-se necessário ao Enfermeiro, o conhecimento apurado da fisiopatologia das doenças, bem como de Semiologia e Semiotécnica.

Abstract:
Critical thinking is a dimension of nursing intelligence necessary for the diagnostic process, so with the identification of their diagnoses, the Nurse will develop and exercise critical thinking about the patient's health conditions, thereby scientifically grounding the prescription of nursing actions necessary to achieve the desired results. The present study aimed to analyze the accuracy of the critical thinking of the nurse in identifying the nursing diagnoses (ND) of patients in an ICU, through the interrelation of its structural components, according to NANDA-I. This is a retrospective study that used as instruments of data the Instruments for Investigation, Diagnosis and Evolution of Nursing of patients assisted through the SAE, in the period of June 2007, in a CTI of Belo Horizonte-MG. A total of 333 diagnoses were identified from the 113 instruments, 59% (197) of which were real diagnoses and 41% (136) of risk diagnoses. No well-being diagnoses have been identified. In 22% (76) of the Instruments analyzed, it was found that the defining characteristics (signs, symptoms and scientific evidence) and the related factors were not in line with the definition of the Diagnostic Title (TD) proposed by NANDA-I. The use of ND makes it possible to plan nursing care properly through the correct interpretation and decision making about the patient's health needs. For an accurate diagnostic formulation, it is necessary for the Nurse, accurate knowledge of the pathophysiology of diseases, as well as Semiology and Semiotics.
