AN OVERVIEW OF THE APPLICATION OF OLLST DISTRIBUTION IN THE COVID-19 DATA FROM THE STATE OF ACRE
RESUMO: Da Cruz et al. (2014) propuseram uma nova classe de distribuições Odd Log-Logística-G para criar uma nova família de distribuição que pudesse estender qualquer distribuição contínua. Portanto, pensou-se em usar a distribuição Skew t-Student como função base e criar a distribuição Odd Log- Logística Skew t-Student (OLLST). Para verificar a flexibilidade da distribuição OLLST, foi feito um ajuste nos dados referentes ao COVID-19 no Estado do Acre. A nova distribuição OLLST foi melhor do que a distribuiçãonormal pelos critérios de comparação AIC e SBC.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Da Cruz et al. (2014) proposed a new Odd Log-Logistic-G distributions class to create a new distribution family that could extend any continuous distribution. Thus, it was thought to use the Skew t-Student distribution as a base function and create the Odd Log-Logistic Skew t-Student distribution (OLLST). To verify the OLLST distribution’s flexibility, an adjustment was made in data referring to COVID-19 in the State of Acre. The new OLLST distribution was better than the normal distribution by the AIC and SBC comparison criteria.
