Abstract: Pig farming is one of the most important agricultural sectors in Brazil, being the 4th largest producer in the world. One of the challenges faced in raising these animals is in relation to temperature, since heat stress negatively affects production. And the environment is an essential factor in this regard. An adequate environment provides ideal thermal comfort for the production chain to be efficient and profitable. This study was developed at Fazenda Buriti, located in Florestal-MG, in the pig sector, during the gestation and maternity phases, with the objective of analyzing the structure of the farm and the temperature and humidity parameters, under the supervision of agricultural technician José Flávio da Silva. The average daily temperatures in the maternity sector varied between 19.5°C and 24.34°C, while in the gestation sector, this variation was from 16.94°C to 21.89°C. However, when analyzing four different periods during the day, each lasting 8 hours, it was observed that the discrepancies were greater. The humidity level in the city registered a minimum of 58.16% and a maximum of 74.70%, slightly outside the ideal values on some days. The structure of the farm was old and flawed in some aspects, requiring improvements so that both the temperature and humidity reach levels more favorable to the well-being of the animals, through the ambiance, impacting and improving their productivity.
