AMBIÊNCIA E ENTORNO: INTERAÇÕES SOCIOESPACIAIS ENTRE IDOSOS MORADORES DE UM CONDOMÍNIO E A VIZINHANÇA.
O envelhecimento populacional requer novas demandas ao espaço urbano, em especial, nos lugares de moradia e seu entorno para a pessoa idosa. Deve ser acessível e funcional englobando aspectos físico, social, cultural e subjetivo, pressupostos da ambiência. Esse artigo mostra como as condições do entorno em um condomínio exclusivo para idoso de baixa renda podem definir o espaço e as relações sociais, aproximando ou afastando moradores - estabelecendo a vizinhança como espaço de (des)encontros. A pesquisa desenvolveu-se com delimitação da área geográfica considerada entorno, baseada nos preceitos da unidade de vizinhança. Realizou-se visitas ao local e entrevistas semiestruturadas com a vizinhança a fim de verificar a situação socioespacial. Desse modo, constatou-se que barreiras físicas podem impelir barreiras sociais, pois comprometem a ambiência, fragilizando as relações. Assim, é necessário pensar lugares de moradia que contemplem o entorno com experiências físicas e sensoriais que despertem a afetividade e o sentido de pertencimento.

Abstract:
Population aging requires new demands on the urban, especially in places of residence for the elderly and their surroundings. It must be accessible and functional, envolve physical, social, cultural and subjective aspects, presupposed by the ambience. This article shows how the surrounding conditions in a condominium exclusive to low-income seniors can define space and social relations, bringing residents closer or further apart - establishing the neighborhood as a space for (dis)encounters. This scientific research is based on the delimitation of the geographical area considered to be the surroundings environments, based on the precepts of the neighborhood unit. A site visits and semi-structured interview with the neighborhood were carried out in order to verify the socio-spatial situation. Thus, it was found that physical barriers can lead to social barriers, as they compromise the ambience, weakening relationships. Therefore, it is necessary to think of places of residence that contemplate the surroundings too with physical and sensory experiences that awaken affection and a sense of belonging.
