Abstract: Twenty active ingredients (p.a.) were identified in a survey of pesticides, carried out on literature, focusing on the already used and/or in use in the chemical control of Bactrocera carambolae Drew & Hancock, 1994 (Diptera: Tephritidae), which is considered a Present Quarantine Pest (PQP) in Brazil. The negative environmental impact of the application of pesticides in pollinators has been widely warned in different media, whether dealing with contamination of bee colonies resulting significant mortalities, as well as taking into account the residues of these chemical compounds found in their derived products, among others. The present work presents a review, based on national and international literature, addressing the potential impacts caused to bees by the 20 p.a. identified, aiming to support information for the public policies focusing on this PQP in Brazil.
