ALIMENTOS IMUNOMODELADORES NO TRATAMENTO DE NEOPLASIAS
O câncer é uma das doenças que mais matam no país, no ano de 2017 foram mais de 200 mil óbitos e em 2018 mais de 600 mil novos casos segundo dados do INCA/MS. Câncer é o nome dado a um conjunto de mais de 100 doenças que têm em comum o crescimento desordenado de células, que invadem tecidos e órgãos. O uso de dieta imunomoduladora possui nutrientes específicos, que podem ter ação direta ou indireta no sistema imune, assim podendo prevenir as diversas formas de apresentação do câncer; assim a alimentação se torna uma importante medida para prevenir e também auxiliar na melhora do estado nutricional e no tratamento dessa patologia. Sendo assim, objetiva-se com esse estudo avaliar o uso de alimentos imunomodeladores no tratamento do câncer e suas evidencias de melhora. Este estudo configura-se como um estudo sistemático, onde três artigos foram escolhidos para comparar os resultados obtidos em diversos estudos sobre o câncer e a alimentação. Os estudos apontam benefícios no uso de tais alimentos, ressalta-se porém, a necessidade de maiores estudos.

Abstract:
Cancer is one of the diseases that kills the most in the country, in 2017 there were more than 200 thousand deaths and in 2018 more than 600 thousand new cases according to INCA / MS data. Cancer is the name given to a group of more than 100 diseases that have in common the disordered growth of cells, which invade tissues and organs. The use of an immunomodulating diet has specific nutrients, which can have direct or indirect action on the immune system, thus preventing various forms of cancer presentation; thus, food becomes an important measure to prevent and also to help improve the nutritional status and treat this pathology. Thus, the objective of this study is to evaluate the use of immunomodulating foods in cancer treatment and its evidence of improvement. This study is a systematic study, where three articles were chosen to compare the results obtained in several studies on cancer and nutrition. Studies show benefits in the use of such foods, but the need for further studies is highlighted.
