ALFBETIZAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA E O ENSINO DE CIÊNCIAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA A VIVÊNCIA DOS SUJEITOS NA SOCIEDADE MODERNA
O presente texto propõe uma discussão acerca da relevância do ensino de ciências na sociedade moderna. Amparado em um breve resgate histórico do ensino de ciências e as dificuldades que o mesmo enfrenta quando desenvolvido na perspectiva de formação de cientistas, aponta para a necessidade de um processo educacional formativo científico, voltado para a alfabetização científica. Faz apontamentos referentes à globalização e algumas peculiaridades da contemporaneidade, bem como as significativas mudanças que isso provocou na formação e vivência dos sujeitos. Ao longo do texto, justifica-se a importância da alfabetização científica no sentido que, através dela, os estudantes possam compreender os fenômenos históricos, naturais, sociais e tecnológicos a partir de sua própria perspectiva. Desse modo, entende-se que a alfabetização científica, oferta subsídios para que o sujeito da sociedade contemporânea veja a ciência como um processo contínuo, social e cultural de vida, onde poderá construir e transformar saberes, conhecimentos e valores.

Abstract:
This text proposes a discussion about the relevance of science teaching in contemporary society. Based on a brief historical rescue of science teaching and the difficulties it faces when developed in the perspective of training scientists, points to the need for a scientific educational educational process, aimed at scientific literacy. He makes notes on globalization and some peculiarities of contemporaneity, as well as the significant changes that this provoked in the formation and experience of the subjects. Throughout the text, it is justified the importance of scientific literacy in the sense that, through it, students can understand the historical, natural, social and technological phenomena from their perspective. A scientific education, based on literacy, offers subsidies for the subject of contemporary society to see science as a continuous process, social and cultural life, where they can build and transform knowledge, knowledge and values.
