ALFABETIZAÇÃO NO FINAL DO SEGUNDO CICLO DO ENSINO FUNDAMENTAL: UM NOVO DESAFIO PARA OS GRADUANDOS DO CURSO DE PEDAGOGIA
Este artigo apresenta resultados parciais do projeto de extensão “Alfabetização no final do segundo ciclo do Ensino Fundamental: um novo desafio para os graduandos do Curso de Pedagogia” (2018-2019). O objetivo principal desse projeto é propor formas de habilitar os graduandos do Curso de Pedagogia da Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais (UEMG), participantes do Programada Escola Integrada, uma parceria da UEMG com a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Belo Horizonte – SMED/BH, para lidar com alunos do segundo ciclo do Ensino Fundamental que não sabem ler e escrever ou desempenham essas habilidades de modo precário.

Abstract:
This paper presents partial results of the extension project entitled: “Literacy at the end of the second cycle of Elementary School: a new challenge for the undergraduate students of the Education Faculty” (2018-2019). The main objective of this project is to propose ways to enable the undergraduates of the Faculty of Education of the University of Minas Gerais State (UEMG), participants of the Integrated School Program, a partnership between UEMG and the Municipal Education Secretariat of Belo Horizonte - SMED/BH, to deal with students from the second cycle of Elementary school who do not know how to read or write or whose performances in those skills are precarious.
