ALFABETIZAÇÃO ECOLÓGICA: REFLEXÕES PERTINENTES À CESSAÇÃO DO ANALFABETISMO AMBIENTAL
Existe todo um arcabouço jurídico determinando a obrigatoriedade da alfabetização ambiental, todavia, devido a uma visão preeminentemente antropocêntrica, segundo a qual o meio ambiente é visto como um recurso que deve simplesmente servir ao ser humano, tem-se aumentado o analfabetismo ambiental. Um ensino superficial, sem a necessária compreensão crítica, deve ser superado, para que se possa formar cidadãos responsáveis e preocupados em garantir uma existência harmônica com o meio ambiente. Com o intuito de destacar a obrigatoriedade e a necessidade da alfabetização ambiental, o presente artigo transita pelo sistema legislativo brasileiro, ressaltando a necessidade de uma educação ambiental efetiva e a importância de se investir na capacitação de professores. Para tal estudo, utilizou-se o método de pesquisa dedutivo, bem como revisão bibliográfica e normativa.

Abstract:
There is a whole legal framework determining the mandatory nature of environmental literacy, however, due to a preeminently anthropocentric view, according to which the environment is seen as a resource that should simply serve human beings, environmental illiteracy has increased. A superficial teaching, without the necessary critical understanding, must be overcome, so that responsible citizens can be formed and concerned with guaranteeing a harmonious existence with the environment. In order to highlight the obligation and the need for environmental literacy, this article goes through the Brazilian legislative system, emphasizing the need for effective environmental education and the importance of investing in teacher training. For this study, the deductive research method was used, as well as bibliographic and normative review.
