ALÉM DA INVISIBILIDADE: CARTAS E LITERATURA
A historiografia literária estabelece o questionamento sobre a literatura no contexto da produção e da circulação dos textos de arte e cultura. Tais textos redefinem e expandem o conceito de literatura; nesse contexto, a correspondência de escritores tem se mostrado um campo fértil para o entendimento sobre a criação e formação de uma crítica sobre autores e obras. Dessa forma, propõe-se realizar um estudo sistemático do espaço ocupado pela literatura na correspondência de Da Costa e Silva para Alice, sua noiva. O estudo traçará algumas marcas da invisibilidade que permeiam a obra do poeta amarantino e a literariedade presentes na missiva em análise, bem como promoverá um mapeamento para identificar os traços de literariedade além de produzir discussões sobre a concepção de literatura, escrita de si e crítica literária na literatura piauiense. A investigação é de natureza bibliográfica, centrando-se nas propostas teóricas de autores como Foucault (1992), Candido (2005), dentre outros. O estudo divulgará a importância da correspondência para o estudo da epistolografia ao tempo em que ressignifica o escritor, trazendo-o para a discussão junto ao meio acadêmico com a ressalva da necessidade de se reconhecerem as marcas inconfundíveis que definem o gênero epistolar na literatura local.

Abstract:
: Literary historiography establishes literature questioning in the context of production and circulation of texts on art and culture. Such texts redefine and expand the concept of literature; in this context, writers’ correspondence has proved to be a fertile field for understanding the creation and formation of a criticism about authors and works. Thus, it is proposed to carry out a systematic study of the space occupied by literature in the correspondence of Da Costa e Silva to Alice, his bride. The study will trace some marks of invisibility that permeate the work of the Amarantine poet and the literariness present in the letter under analysis, as well as promoting a mapping to identify the traits of literariness in addition to producing discussions about the conception of literature, self-writing and literary criticism in Piauiense literature. The investigation is of bibliographic nature, focusing on the theoretical proposals of authors such as Foucault (1992), Candido (2005), among others. The study will divulge the correspondence importance for the study of epistolography at the time when it re-signifies the writer, bringing him to the discussion with the academic environment highlighting the need to recognize the unmistakable marks that define the epistolary genre in the local literature.
