ALEITAMENTO MATERNO: A ABORDAGEM INICIAL DE ENFERMAGEM NO PUERPÈRIO.
Introdução: O aleitamento materno é a forma natural que mais contribui para benefícios, tanto da mãe como do bebê, tem importante papel na prevenção de doenças e na promoção da qualidade de vida, mas principalmente na interação e na troca de afeto entre mãe-filho. O enfermeiro tem um importante papel durante o pré-natal, por meio de práticas e atitudes estes profissionais podem incentivar a amamentação e apoiar as nutrizes, evitando assim dúvidas e o desmame precoce. Objetivo: identificar a atuação do enfermeiro na promoção, incentivo e apoio ao aleitamento materno no pós-parto imediato. Métodos: trata-se, de uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico, realizou uma busca com os descritores: aleitamento materno; enfermagem; recém-nascido na base de dados Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Analisaram-se 16 artigos publicados a partir de 1996, que atenderam aos critérios de inclusão previamente estabelecidos. Conclusão: esse estudo permitiu analisar a importância do profissional de enfermagem enfermeiro atuando e orientando as puérpera quanto à promoção, incentivando e apoiando ao aleitamento materno.

Abstract:
Introduction: Breastfeeding is the natural form that contributes most to the benefits of both mother and baby, has an important role in disease prevention and in promoting quality of life, but mainly in the interaction and in the exchange of affection between mother and child , nurses have an important role during prenatal care, it is through their practices and attitudes that these professionals can encourage breastfeeding and support nursing mothers, thus avoiding doubts and early weaning. Objective: to identify the role of nurses in promoting, encouraging and supporting breastfeeding in the immediate postpartum period. Methods: it is a bibliographical research, carried out a search with the descriptors: breastfeeding; nursing; in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) database. We analyzed 16 articles published since 1996 that met the inclusion criteria previously established. Conclusion: This study allowed us to analyze the importance of nurses' professional nurses acting and orienting the puerpera regarding promotion, encouraging and supporting.
