AGROFLORESTA E SEUS BENEFICIOS SALIENTANDO AS VANTAGENS AMBIENTAIS
O sistema agroflorestal vem
emergindo como alternativa sustentável à
produção agrícola convencional, uma vez
que este sistema causa diversos impactos
negativos ao solo, recursos hídricos, fauna,
flora e saúde humana, devido ao uso excessivo
de insumos químicos para produção em massa
e continua de alimentos em todos os períodos
do ano. O sistema agroflorestal, por sua vez,
visa reduzir o uso de agrotóxicos e fertilizantes,
contribuindo para a saúde ambiental, além
de fornecer recursos alimentícios orgânicos
e recursos madeireiros sustentáveis, traz
também, subsídio financeiro para o produtor
rural familiar. O objetivo deste trabalho é
apresentar o quão vantajoso podem ser os
sistemas agroflorestais quando comparado
à produção convencional, apresentando os
impactos ambientais causados pela agricultura
convencional e os benefícios da agrofloresta a
partir de levantamento bibliográfico, visita de
campo e tratamento de dados.

Abstract:
The agroforestry system has
emerged as a sustainable alternative to
conventional agricultural production, since this
system causes several negative impacts to the
soil, water resources, fauna, flora and human
health due to the excessive use of chemical
inputs for mass and continuous production of
food at all times of the year. The agroforestry
system, in turn, aims to reduce the use of
agrochemicals and fertilizers, contributing to
environmental health, as well as providing
organic food resources and sustainable timber
resources, as well as providing financial support
to the rural family farmer. The objective of
this work is to present how advantageous
agroforestry systems can be when compared
to conventional production, presenting the
environmental impacts caused by conventional
agriculture and the benefits of agroforestry from
a bibliographical survey, field visit and data treatment.
