AGROECOLOGIA NA ESCOLA COMO INSTRUMENTO DE ENSINO A PARTIR DA ABORDAGEM TEMÁTICA FREIREANA
Frente às alterações climáticas e acelerado esgotamento de recursos naturais não renováveis, a Agroecologia se apresenta como grande aliada na busca por agroecossistemas mais sustentáveis e na construção da consciência ambiental dos alunos. Neste contexto, o projeto Semeando Agroflorestas consiste na implantação e manejo de Sistemas Agroflorestais nas escolas da rede pública de ensino do território de identidade médio sudoeste da Bahia, visando estender à comunidade técnicas e conceitos agroecológicos atrelados à produção sustentável de alimentos, justificado pelo potencial didático dos Sistemas Agroflorestais como laboratório prático para o ensino de ciências. A metodologia empregada no projeto Semeando Agroflorestas (SeAFlor) seguiu uma abordagem qualitativa, que segundo Minayo (2008) proporciona a compreensão de dados não quantificáveis, e confere a modelos teóricos abstratos melhor aplicabilidade prática. A execução do mesmo se deu entre Abril e Dezembro de 2018, com a implantação dos SAF’s, inicialmente no Colégio Modelo Luis Eduardo Magalhães – CMLEM, e posteriormente no Colégio Estadual Alfredo Dutra – CEAD, ambos situados no município de Itapetinga-Bahia. As atividades desenvolvidas envolveram diretamente cerca de 200 estudantes, além de equipe pedagógica, e funcionários de apoio dos referidos colégios. A implantação dos SAF´s levantou junto às duas comunidades escolares discussões importantes e transversais aos conteúdos curriculares, contribuindo para a formação integral dos alunos. Neste contexto, em concordância com Assmann (2016) constatou-se que os SAF´s nos colégios além de laboratórios verdes, podem viabilizar a formação de cidadãos críticos, conscientes do respeito ao ambiente, e capazes de compreender os fatores econômicos, sociais e regionais da produção de alimentos.

Abstract:
Faced with climate change and accelerated depletion of non-renewable natural resources, Agroecology is a great ally in the search for more sustainable agroecosystems and in the construction of environmental awareness of students. In this context, the project Sowing Agroforestry consists of the implementation and management of Agroforestry Systems in schools of the public school system of the southwestern middle identity territory of Bahia, aiming to extend to the community techniques and agroecological concepts linked to sustainable food production, justified by the didactic potential. Agroforestry Systems as a practical laboratory for science education. The methodology used in the project Sowing Agroforestry (SeAFlor) followed a qualitative approach, which according to Minayo (2008) provides the understanding of non-quantifiable data, and gives abstract theoretical models better practical applicability. Its implementation took place between April and December 2018, with the implementation of SAFs, initially at the Luis Eduardo Magalhães Model College - CMLEM, and later at the Alfredo Dutra State College - CEAD, both located in the municipality of Itapetinga-Bahia. The activities carried out directly involved about 200 students, as well as pedagogical staff, and support staff of the referred colleges. The implementation of the SAFs raised with the two school communities important discussions and cross-curricular content, contributing to the integral formation of students. In this context, in agreement with Assmann (2016) it was found that the SAFs in the schools besides green laboratories, can enable the formation of critical citizens, aware of the respect for the environment, and able to understand the economic, social and regional factors. of food production.
