Agricultura Familiar nas Regiões de Três de Maio, Panambi e Camargo
O presente trabalho integra um programa, composto por ações de ensino, pesquisa e extensão denominado “Programa de Extensão: a Geografia e a promoção do desenvolvimento regional”. O mesmo é voltado aos discentes e docentes dos Cursos de Geografia - Licenciatura e Pedagogia UNIPAMPA/UAB bem como, à comunidade interessada dos municípios de Panambi, Camargo e Três de Maio. No programa desenvolve-se ações relacionadas às temáticas da agricultura familiar, dos Geoparques e do turismo pedagógico, buscando a promoção, a construção e a difusão coletiva de conhecimento entre os atores que integram as instâncias sociais: comunidade universitária e comunidade local e regional no âmbito dos polos educacionais UAB. Esse trabalho justifica-se especialmente pela Universidade Federal do Pampa – UNIPAMPA - ter surgido com a prerrogativa de popularização do ensino superior a espaços historicamente desassistidos pelo poder público ao que tange acesso ao ensino superior público. A instituição busca contribuir com a comunidade onde está inserida, articulando relações entre a academia e os segmentos da sociedade. Logo, ocupando um papel estratégico não somente do ponto de vista das possibilidades de fortalecimento das relações econômicas e do desenvolvimento regional, mas também de popularização do conhecimento científico. Através dos programas de extensão oferecidos pela instituição, os acadêmicos têm oportunidade de ampliar sua compreensão sobre a realidade articulando conhecimentos a partir da transposição didática, tornando os processos de ensino e de aprendizagem mais dinâmicos. Experienciar situações inerentes a sua futura prática profissional, qualifica a formação do aluno e facilita a produção do conhecimento de forma integrada. As diretrizes de Direitos Humanos e as Políticas Nacionais de Extensão Universitária embasam-se no exercício de práticas universitárias de extensão para contribuir para a solução dos problemas sociais do país tornando o desenvolvimento social, econômico e ambiental equilibrado, participativo e não discriminatório. O intercâmbio social do estudante qualifica-o como futuro profissional responsável, não somente pela produção e disseminação de conteúdos científicos, como também aprimora sua responsabilidade social. Assim, infere-se que um dos papéis fundamentais das ações de extensão diz respeito às conexões de saberes e sua relevância na articulação das realidades sociais onde as universidades ocupam seu espaço. Ainda, nesse sentido cabe ressaltar a relevância dos projetos de extensão no âmbito da educação a distância, sendo eles uma possibilidade adicional de socialização das partes envolvidas reforçando o papel da instituição de ensino superior como promotor de relações sociais mais justas e igualitárias. Em relação à agricultura familiar busca-se promover a construção e a difusão de conhecimento sobre a temática, suas possibilidades e limites, objetivando contribuir com a qualificação da vida da comunidade de inserção. Para tal, a equipe executora planejou diferentes ações oportunizando aos participantes conhecerem a realidade vivida pelas comunidades envolvidas com a agricultura familiar, suas dificuldades e sua importância no contexto econômico local e regional. A proposta está sendo efetivada através das ações integradas e desenvolvidas em etapas, na forma de seminário, oficinas, minicurso e curso de formação continuada, oportunizando a produção de conhecimento entre os discentes e docentes da Universidade Federal do Pampa e das redes dos municípios participantes e demais integrantes da comunidade local e regional interessados na proposta.Com a realização deste projeto pretende-se contribuir para a qualificação da formação dos envolvidos, aprofundando o conhecimento sobre a temática da agricultura familiar; identificando limites e possibilidades desta atividade, e assim constituir-se em uma alternativa para a geração de desenvolvimento local e regional, a partir do uso sustentável do espaço geográfico. Também alavancar melhorias para a qualificação dos envolvidos, tornando conhecedores desta temática, e sua importância para a economia local e regional fomentando assim uma integração entre Universidade, escolas e comunidade, e com isso tornar visível que a agricultura familiar além de gerar renda, contribui para a sustentabilidade, com produtos de qualidades superior ao convencional, fazendo uma integração entre produtores rurais, escolas, comunidade em geral e Universidade. Nesse sentido, destaca-se a agricultura familiar, mostrando seu potencial econômico, sustentabilidade e a forma de cultivo da terra pelos componentes da família, produzindo alimentos saudáveis com o manejo do solo e respeitando ao ecossistema. Considera-se que o envolvimento da Universidade, escolas e comunidade, é uma forma de conhecer, valorizar e divulgar o trabalho dos pequenos agricultores, e principalmente, proporcionar troca de saberes, e dar visibilidade ao trabalho desenvolvido pelos pequenos produtores rurais.

Abstract:
The present work is part of a program, composed of teaching, research and extension actions called “Extension Program: Geography and the promotion of regional development”. The same is aimed at students and teachers of the Geography Courses - Licentiate and Pedagogy UNIPAMPA/UAB as well as the interested community in the municipalities of Panambi, Camargo and Três de Maio. The program develops actions related to the themes of family farming, Geoparks and pedagogical tourism, seeking to promote, build and collectively disseminate knowledge among the actors that make up the social spheres: university community and local and regional community within the scope of of the UAB educational centers. This work is especially justified by the fact that the Federal University of Pampa - UNIPAMPA - emerged with the prerogative of popularizing higher education in spaces historically unassisted by the public power in terms of access to public higher education. The institution seeks to contribute to the community where it operates, articulating relationships between academia and segments of society. Therefore, occupying a strategic role not only from the point of view of the possibilities of strengthening economic relations and regional development, but also of popularizing scientific knowledge. Through the extension programs offered by the institution, academics have the opportunity to broaden their understanding of reality by articulating knowledge based on didactic transposition, making teaching and learning processes more dynamic. Experiencing situations inherent to their future professional practice, qualifies the student's training and facilitates the production of knowledge in an integrated way. The Human Rights guidelines and National University Extension Policies are based on the exercise of university extension practices to contribute to the solution of the country's social problems, making social, economic and environmental development balanced, participatory and non-discriminatory. The student's social exchange qualifies him as a future professional responsible, not only for the production and dissemination of scientific content, but also improves his social responsibility. Thus, it is inferred that one of the fundamental roles of extension actions concerns the connections of knowledge and their relevance in the articulation of social realities where universities occupy their space. Still, in this sense, it is worth emphasizing the relevance of extension projects in the scope of distance education, as they are an additional possibility of socialization of the parties involved, reinforcing the role of the higher education institution as a promoter of more just and egalitarian social relations. In relation to family farming, we seek to promote the construction and dissemination of knowledge on the subject, its possibilities and limits, aiming to contribute to the qualification of the life of the insertion community. To this end, the executing team planned different actions, giving participants the opportunity to get to know the reality experienced by the communities involved in family farming, their difficulties and their importance in the local and regional economic context. The proposal is being implemented through integrated actions developed in stages, in the form of a seminar, workshops, mini-course and continuing education course, providing opportunities for the production of knowledge among students and professors of the Federal University of Pampa and the networks of participating municipalities and other members of the local and regional community interested in the proposal. this project is intended to contribute to the qualification of the training of those involved, deepening the knowledge on the theme of family farming; identifying limits and possibilities of this activity, and thus constitute an alternative for the generation of local and regional development, from the sustainable use of the geographic space. Also leverage improvements for the qualification of those involved, making them aware of this theme, and its importance for the local and regional economy, thus promoting an integration between University, schools and community, and thus making it visible that family farming, in addition to generating income, contributes to sustainability, with products of superior quality to the conventional ones, making an integration between rural producers, schools, the community in general and the University. In this sense, family farming stands out, showing its economic potential, sustainability and the way the land is cultivated by the family members, producing healthy food with soil management and respecting the ecosystem. It is considered that the involvement of the University, schools and the community is a way of knowing, valuing and disseminating the work of small farmers, and mainly, providing an exchange of knowledge, and giving visibility to the work developed by small rural producers.
