ADOTE UMA ESCOLA – RESISTÊNCIA E ENFRENTAMENTO ÀS DESIGUALDADES SOCIAIS NA AMAZÔNIA RONDONIENSE.
: A escola pública carrega em si um mundo heterogêneo, diversificado, rico de uma vasta pluralidade cultural. Porém, também carrega em si condições que precisam ser melhoradas em todos os seus aspectos. A escola parece não ouvir os clamores daqueles que sobrevivem dentro e ao seu entorno. Para estes a escola torna-se verdadeiramente algo intocável e isolado. É possível em nossa realidade amazônica, ainda existir comunidade sem escola? É exatamente tentando responder a esta problemática que buscaremos conhecer o “Projeto Adote uma Escola”, desenvolvido durante os anos de 2002 a 2004 pelo Núcleo de Ensino da Ponta do Abunã – NEPA, na denominada Região da Ponta do Abunã – Município de Porto Velho no Estado de Rondônia, na Amazônia Sul – Ocidental Brasileira.

Abstract:
The public school carries within itself a heterogeneous, diversified world, rich in a vast cultural plurality. However, it also carries conditions that need to be improved in all its aspects. The school does not seem to hear the cries of those who survive in and around it. For them, school truly becomes something untouchable and isolated. Is it possible, in our Amazonian reality, to still have a community without a school? It is exactly trying to answer this problem that we will seek to know the "Adopt a School Project", developed during the years 2002 to 2004 by the Ponta do Abunã Teaching Center - PATC, in the so-called Ponta do Abunã Region - Municipality of Porto Velho in State of Rondônia, in the South-Western Brazilian Amazon.
