Abstract: Well-being conditions associated with behaviors help in the development of sexual health in adolescents. Given this, the study aimed to investigate the profile of students at a federal public technical high school through demographic, social, health behavioral variables, family configurations and infrastructure conditions. This is an exploratory, descriptive and cross-sectional research, with a quantitative approach, which used a semi-structured questionnaire applied to 311 high school students at the Federal Institute of Piauí, Pedro Segundo campus. The majority of students are female, mixed race and white, with education between the 1st and 2nd year of technical high school, single, have religion and live in the city of Pedro Segundo. They have a family structure, as they live together with their parents and the majority are supported by their family. Furthermore, they have masonry housing, treated water, adequate sanitary conditions, a stable family environment and no anxiety or depression. Few adolescents reported using drugs, demonstrating that risk behaviors were low in frequency. Despite the positive prevalence of health risk factors among adolescents, the identification of these risks suggests that future interventions be adapted to the realities of students to improve both education and health. The need for collaboration between schools, communities and public policies is emphasized to address these issues effectively, promoting a healthier environment conducive to students' educational and personal development.
