ADOÇÃO DE INSTRUMENTOS DE ESTÍMULO AO USO DE FONTES ALTERNATIVAS DE ENERGIA COMO POLÍTICA PÚBLICA VOLTADA AO DESENVOLVIMENTO SUSTENTÁVEL BRASILEIRO
O presente artigo aborda a temática
da sustentabilidade, tratando de sua inserção
nas discussões internas e internacionais, sendo
o meio ambiente um direito de solidariedade,
essencial à perpetuação da vida. Dá-se especial
enfoque ao uso de energias limpas e eficientes,
como fundamento da coexistência entre o
desenvolvimento econômico e a preservação
ambiental. A necessidade de transição tanto
para fontes menos poluentes, como para
fontes alternativas ao petróleo, de modo a
evitar impactos econômicos e sociais pelo uso
concentrado numa fonte única, faz surgir o
gás natural como alternativa de diversificação
da matriz energética, sendo a extrafiscalidade
uma ferramenta eficiente aos formuladores de
políticas públicas para o atingimento do objetivo
da sustentabilidade. O estudo foi desenvolvido
com base no método dedutivo, utilizando-se a
pesquisa bibliográfico-documental.

Abstract:
This article deals with the
concept of sustainability, dealing with
its insertion in internal and international
discussions. Environment is considered a right
of solidarity, essential to the perpetuation of
life. Special emphasis is given to the use of
clean and efficient energies, as a basis for the
coexistence between economic development
and environmental preservation. There is a need
for a transition both to less polluting sources, as
to an alternative source to oil, so that it avoids
economic and social impacts related to its
concentration in a single source. Natural gas
arises as an alternative for the diversification
of the energy matrix. Therefore, extrafiscality
is an efficient tool for public policies makers
to achieve the aim of sustainability. The study
was developed based on the deductive method,
using a bibliographical-documentary research
