ADIÇÃO E SUBTRAÇÃO COM INTEIROS: UMA POSSIBILIDADE DE ESTUDO COM O GEOGEBRA
Este artigo foi desenvolvido a partir
de nossas experiências enquanto professores
de Matemática durante o estudo dos números
inteiros, com nossos alunos, tanto em sala de
aula quanto em aulas particulares, motivados
pela dificuldade dos estudantes em compreender
as operações de adição e subtração nesse
conjunto numérico. Durante os anos iniciais
do Ensino Fundamental são apresentadas as
operações com os números naturais com a
utilização de material concreto. Assim, os alunos
são levados a acreditar que cálculos da forma
“3 – 5” são impossíveis de serem resolvidos. Já
no 7º ano, com aproximadamente 12 anos de
idade e sem um raciocínio abstrato muito bem
definido, durante o estudo com inteiros, tentam
convencê-los do contrário – o que provoca
uma grande confusão. A partir dessa situação,
apresentamos e comentamos nossa alternativa
didática de estudo com a utilização do applet
“Adição e Subtração com Inteiros” como uma
TIC para facilitar a compreensão do referido conteúdo. Por fim elencamos os retornos e
resultados alcançados durante nossas aulas.

Abstract:
This article was developed from
our experiences as teachers of Mathematics
during the study of whole numbers, with our
students, both in private lessons, motivated
by the students understand the operations of
addition and subtraction in this numerical set.
During the initial years of Elementary School
operations are presented with natural numbers
with the use of concrete material. Thus, students
are led to believe that calculations of the form “3
– 5” are impossible to solve. Already in the 7th
year of elementary school, with approximately 12
years old and without a very well defined abstract
reasoning, during the study with numbers
integers, try to convince them otherwise - which
causes a great deal of confusion. Starting from
this situation, we present and comment on our
didactic study use of the applet “Adding and
Subtraction with Integer” as an ICT to facilitate
the understanding of said content. Finally, we
list the returns and results achieved during our
classes.
