ADESÃO DA HIGIENIZAÇÃO DAS MÃOS ENTRE A EQUIPE ASSISTENCIAL NA SALA DE RECUPERAÇÃO PÓS-ANESTÉSICA.
Atualmente os serviços de saúde tratam como prioridade o tema da higienização das mãos. Embora seja a medida mais importante e reconhecida há muitos anos na prevenção e controle das infecção em todos os serviços de saúde, colocá-la em prática consiste em uma tarefa complexa e difícil. O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a adesão da higienização das mãos pela equipe assistencial na sala de recuperação pós-anestésica de uma instituição de saúde de Porto Alegre. É um estudo descritivo e quantitativo em base de dados secundários da instituição. Foram observadas cento oitenta e duas oportunidades de higienização das mãos, pela equipe do controle de infecção, considerando os cinco momentos preconizados pela Organização Mundial de Saúde. Neste estudo constatou-se que 72,00% realizaram a higiene corretamente, 0,53% realizaram incorretamente 27,47% não realizaram. Diante dos resultados obtidos neste estudo, observa-se que apesar de ser um procedimento simples a higienização das mãos continuará sendo um desafio para todas as equipes de saúde

Abstract:
Currently health services treat as priority the issue of hand hygiene. Although it is the most important and recognized for many years in the prevention and control of infection in all health services, putting it into practice is a complex and difficult exercise. The aim of this study was to assess compliance of hand hygiene by healthcare staff in post anesthetic recovery room of a healthcare facility in Porto Alegre, southern Brazil. It is a descriptive and quantitative study on the database side of the institution. Were observed percent eighty-two opportunities for hand hygiene, the infection control team, considering the five times recommended by the World Health Organization this study we found that 72.00% were correctly hygiene, 0.53% had 27.47% did not perform incorrectly. Considering the results obtained in this study, it was observed that despite being a simple hand hygiene remain a challenge for all health teams.
