ADEQUAÇÕES DE ACESSIBILIDADE NO BLOCO M COM BASE NA NBR 9050: UM ESTUDO DE CASO NA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE PONTA GROSSA

A acessibilidade e a inclusão social são fundamentais para garantir a igualdade de oportunidades e o respeito aos direitos humanos. Assim, este estudo tem como objetivo analisar as condições de acessibilidade no Bloco M da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa (UEPG). Por meio do método de pesquisa aplicada, que inclui pesquisa bibliográfica, coleta de dados, análise e proposição de soluções em conformidade com as diretrizes da NBR 9050, NBR 16537 e outras normas e legislações pertinentes à acessibilidade, o presente trabalho buscou não apenas identificar as barreiras arquitetônicas existentes, mas também propor soluções para promover um ambiente universitário mais acessível e inclusivo. A pesquisa visa garantir que estudantes, professores e funcionários com deficiência ou mobilidade reduzida tenham acesso total às instalações do Setor de Ciências Biológicas e da Saúde, ao mesmo tempo em que espera-se que os resultados reforcem a importância da acessibilidade e da inclusão social na comunidade universitária.

  • Abstract: Accessibility and social inclusion are fundamental to ensuring equal opportunities and respect for human rights. Thus, this study aims to analyze the accessibility conditions in Building M of the State University of Ponta Grossa. Through the applied research method, which includes literature review, data collection, analysis, and proposing solutions in accordance with the guidelines of NBR 9050, NBR 16537, and other relevant accessibility standards and legislation, this work seeks not only to identify existing architectural barriers but also to propose solutions to promote a more accessible and inclusive university environment. The research aims to ensure that students, professors, and staff with disabilities or reduced mobility have full access to the facilities of the Department of Biological Sciences and Health, while also expecting that the results will reinforce the importance of accessibility and social inclusion in the university community
