ADEQUAÇÃO DE TELHADOS VERDES EXTENSIVOS PARA A CIDADE DE CARUARU-PE BASEADA NA MÉDIA DE PRECIPITAÇÕES CHUVOSAS
O cenário de profundo déficit hídrico
presente na região do Agreste Pernambucano,
impõe a busca de soluções que visem a
melhoria das condições habitacionais e a
melhoria do escoamento das cidades, a fim
de contribuir para a melhoria da qualidade de
vida e ambiental. O uso de ferramentas como a
utilização de telhados verdes, vem se mostrando
uma alternativa promissora para minimizar
esses impactos. O presente trabalho teve como
objetivo a análise histórica pluviométrica dos
últimos 50 anos para a escolha da cobertura
vegetal ideal para períodos de estiagem. Para
tal utilizou-se o banco de dados do Instituto
de Tecnologia de Pernambuco e com o auxílio
de planilhas eletrônicas e testes estatísticos
foi observado que a região apresenta
características de estiagem, com pluviosidade
média de 50 mm por períodos superiores a 4
meses. Para a utilização de cobertura vegetal de
tipo extensiva devem ser escolhidas variedades
que tenham necessidades abaixo dos 100 mm
de precipitação mensais. A avaliação dos
dados para seleção das espécies, sugeriu o uso
da cobertura de plantas do próprio semiárido
regional, por apresentarem vantagens de melhor
adaptação e por naturalmente armazenarem
água e nutrientes em períodos de déficit hídrico.

Abstract:
The scenery of deep water scarcity
in the area of the Agreste from Pernambuco,
imposes the search of solutions that seek the
improvement of the habitational conditions and
the improvement of the drainage of the cities, in
order to contribute for the improvement of the
life quality and environmental. The use of tools
as the use of green roofs, comes if showing a
promising alternative to minimize those impacts.
The present work had as objective the analysis
historical rain of the last 50 years for the choice
of the ideal vegetable covering for drought
periods. For such the database of the Institute
Gestão de Recursos Hídricos e Sustentabilidade 3 Capítulo 1 2
of Technology of Pernambuco was used and with the aid of electronic spreadsheets
and statistical tests it was observed that the area presents drought characteristics, with
medium rainfall of 50 mm for superior periods to 4 months. For the use of extensive
vegetable covering of type they should be chosen varieties that have needs below the
100 mm monthly precipitation. The evaluation of the data for selection of the species,
suggested the use of the covering of plants of the own regional semiarid, for they
present advantages of better adaptation and for naturally they store water and nutritious
in periods of water scarcity
