ADENOMA PLEOMÓRFICO: RELATO DE CASOS CLÍNICOS
O adenoma pleomórfico é um tumor misto, benigno com ocorrência mais comum nas glândulas salivares, principalmente na parótida e submandibular, sendo menos frequentes na região intraoral, quando o mesmo ocorre possui preferência pela região do palato, lábio e mucosa jugal. O objetivo desse trabalho é apresentar dois casos clínicos de Adenoma Pleomórfico com localizações diferentes e atípicas, e eleger a melhor forma de tratamento para cada caso específico, assim como descrever as etapas clinicas do manejo com o paciente desde a cirurgia ao pós-operatório. A presente pesquisa ocorreu em uma IES com dois pacientes diagnosticados com adenoma pleomórfico, sendo um em palato duro e outro em lábio superior. O diagnóstico foi feito através de biópsia e exame histopatológico. Diante do exposto podemos observar que o Adenoma Pleomórfico é uma patologia que merece destaque, haja vista que possui características particulares, sendo de extrema importância o conhecimento do Cirurgião Dentista sobre tal patologia, para assim realizar um diagnóstico precoce. Essas características peculiares irão ajudar na conduta mais específica para cada região, tendo sempre a finalidade de reduzir as chances de malignidade e de recidiva.

Abstract:
Pleomorphic adenoma is a mixed, benign tumor with more common occurrence in the salivary glands, mainly in the parotid and submandibular glands, being less frequent in the intraoral region, when it occurs, it has a preference for the region of the palate, lip and buccal mucosa. The objective of this work is to present two clinical cases of Pleomorphic Adenoma with different and atypical locations, and to choose the best form of treatment for each specific case, as well as to describe the clinical stages of management with the patient from surgery to the postoperative period. The present research took place in an HEI with two patients diagnosed with pleomorphic adenoma, one in the hard palate and the other in the upper lip. The diagnosis was made through biopsy and histopathological examination. In view of the above, we can observe that the Pleomorphic Adenoma is a pathology that deserves to be highlighted, given that it has particular characteristics, and the knowledge of the Dental Surgeon about such pathology is extremely important, in order to carry out an early diagnosis. These peculiar characteristics will help in the most specific conduct for each region, always aiming to reduce the chances of malignancy and recurrence.
