ADAPTAÇÃO DOS PRIMEIROANISTAS À UNIVERSIDADE
As questões que envolvem a adaptação acadêmica dos estudantes ingressantes ao Ensino Superior, são hoje pouco investigadas no Brasil, motivo pelo qual fez gerar esta investigação que pretende ser um contributo nesse sentido, tendo como foco de análise as representações dos estudantes, nas dimensões da sua adaptação acadêmica, uma vez que se reconhecem as Universidades como contextos privilegiados de desenvolvimento discente. Logo, o objetivo deste estudo visa compreender as experiências dos estudantes ingressantes, dos cursos de graduação da Universidade, a partir das suas percepções, em que a investigação abrangeu as formas de organização do ensino, trabalho desenvolvido pelos professores/ aprendizagem do estudante, avaliação na universidade, assim como estruturas e serviços do contexto real da universidade, local onde decorre a adaptação dos jovens. Ao abordar a forma de adaptação dos estudantes ingressantes, a investigação envolveu o ensino superior na universidade pública, os perfis sociodemográficos e averiguação exploratória contextual, que favoreceram conhecer algumas das dificuldades de adaptação dos estudantes, contribuindo na construção deste estudo. A parte empírica deste trabalho, voltada ao principal objetivo desta investigação, permitiu-nos visualizar a realidade na adaptação dos estudantes primeiroanistas conduzindo-nos a propostas direcionadas à adaptação e ao sucesso acadêmico.

Abstract:
The issues involving the academic adaptation of students entering Higher Education are currently little investigated in Brazil, which is why it has generated this research that aims to be a contribution in this regard, focusing on the analysis of the students’ representations, in the dimensions of their academic adaptation, since the Universities are recognized as privileged contexts of students development. Therefore, the aim of this study is to understand the experiences of freshman students, University undergraduate courses, from their perceptions, where research covered forms of teaching organization, teacher work/student learning, university assessment, as well as structures and services in the real context of the university, where young people adapt. In addressing the adaptation of new students, the research involved higher education in the public university, sociodemographic profiles and contextual exploratory inquiry, that favored to know some of the difficulties of adaptation of the students, contributing in the construction of this study. The empirical part of this work, focused on the main objective of this investigation, allowed us to visualize the reality in the adaptation of first year students leading us to proposals directed to adaptation and academic success.
