ACOMPANHAMENTO GEORREFERENCIADO DE ÁREAS BRASILEIRAS DE CERRADO SUJEITAS AOS ATAQUES DE HELICOVERPA ARMIGERA ACOMPANHAMENTO GEORREFERENCIADO DE ÁREAS BRASILEIRAS DE CERRADO SUJEITAS AOS ATAQUES DE HELICOVERPA ARMIGERA
O presente trabalho acompanhou a
dinâmica espaço-temporal de áreas brasileiras
de Cerrado com hospedeiros de Helicoverpa
armigera Hübner (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae),
utilizando técnicas de georreferenciamento e
informações de áreas plantadas municipais com
os cultivos hospedeiros, a saber anuais (feijão,
milho, soja, algodão e tomate), perenes (laranja,
café) e florestais (pinus e eucalipto), em 2015 e
2017 (IBGE). Essa praga exótica foi identificada
no país na safra 2012/2013 e demanda
estratégias de manejo locais, dado seu potencial
reprodutivo e dispersivo, principalmente nesse
bioma brasileiro. Por essa razão, o contínuo
monitoramento geoespacial de áreas plantadas
com hospedeiros é imprescindível para
direcionar ações de inspeção e controle de seu
programa de manejo integrado, como também
possibilita identificar a dinâmica espaçotemporal
dessas áreas hospedeiras no país.
Em 2015 foram priorizados 158 municípios
enquanto em 2017 foram 300. Destes, 136
municípios ocorridos em 2015 reaparecem nas
priorizações de 2017, sendo além de Brasília
(DF), 2 de Goiás, 15 do Mato Grosso, 4 do Mato
Grosso do Sul, 2 do Maranhão, 4 da Bahia, 2 de
Roraima, 4 de Tocantins, 61 de Minas Gerais,
33 de São Paulo e 8 do Paraná. Em 2017 foram
priorizados municípios dos estados do Piauí (2)
e do Pará (3), estados não priorizados em 2015.

Abstract:
The present work followed the spatio-temporal dynamics of Brazilian
Cerrado areas with host crops of Helicoverpa armigera Hübner (Lepidoptera:
Noctuidae), using georeferencing techniques and municipality information of planted
areas, namely annual crops (beans, corn, soybeans, cotton, and tomato), as well
as perennials (orange and coffee) and forestry (pine and eucalyptus) in 2015 and
2017 (IBGE). This exotic pest was identified in the country in the 2012/2013 season
and demands local management strategies, due to its reproductive and dispersive
potential, especially in this Brazilian biome. For this reason, the continuous geospatial
monitoring of areas planted with host crops is essential to direct inspection and control
actions of its Integrated Pest Management program, as well as to identify the spatiotemporal
dynamics of these host areas in the country. In 2015, 158 municipalities were
prioritized, while in 2017 there were 300. Of these, 136 municipalities that occurred
