ACOLHIMENTO NO ÂMBITO DA SAÚDE PÚBLICA SOB A ÓTICA DE TRANSEXUAIS
Pretendem-se com este estudo
discutir as questões pertinentes à saúde sob a
perspectiva de homens e mulheres transexuais,
identificando a assimilação desta população
acerca do acolhimento em saúde.Trata-se de
uma pesquisa de caráter qualitativo-descritivo,
que teve como população alvo homens e
mulheres transexuais, em Campo Grande -
MS. A análise dos resultados baseou-se em
Minayo, que seguiu duas etapas: (1) Análise;
(2) Tratamento dos Resultados/Inferência/
Interpretação. Apesar da existência de uma
política de atenção integral a saúde voltada para
a população LGBT, decretos de lei que tornam
obrigatoriedade da utilização nome social em
esfera estadual e federal, evidenciou-se nesse
estudo que o despreparo no atendimento inicial
e na triagem é um dos ponderamentos mais
referidos, principalmente no que diz respeito
ao nome social. A assimilação da população
supracitada acerca do acolhimento, evidenciou
entraves como o despreparo, desrespeito ao
individuo e aos pronomes, nome social apontado
por grande parte dos integrantes como um
das práticas mais realizadas por profissionais
atuantes nos estabelecimentos de saúde.

Abstract:
The aim of this study is to discuss
the pertinent health issues from the perspective
of transsexual men and women, identifying the
assimilation of this population about health care.
This is a qualitative-descriptive research that had
as population male and female transsexuals in
Campo Grande - MS. The analysis of the results
was based on Minayo, which followed two
steps: (1) Analysis; (2) Treatment of Results /
Inference / Interpretation. Despite the existence
of a comprehensive health care policy for the
LGBT population, statutory decrees that make
it mandatory to use the social name in the state
and federal spheres, it was evidenced in this
study that the lack of preparation in initial care

and screening is one of the referred to above, especially with regard to the social name.
The assimilation of the aforementioned population about the reception, evidenced
obstacles such as unpreparedness, disrespect to the individual and to the pronouns,
social name pointed out by most of the members as one of the practices most performed
by professionals working in health establishments.
