AÇÕES EXTENSIONISTAS COM CRIANÇAS E ADOLESCENTES NA ESCOLA: POSSIBILIDADES PARA A EDUCAÇÃO EM SAÚDE
RESUMO: Objetivo: Relatar ações extensionistas por meio das práticas de educação em saúde desenvolvidas por estudantes do curso de graduação em enfermagem com crianças e adolescentes no âmbito escolar. Metodologia: Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, acerca das atividades realizadas no projeto de extensão “Educação em saúde como possibilidades para o cuidado de crianças e adolescentes com deficiência”. As ações extensionistas foram desenvolvidas em duas escolas públicas na zona urbana da região noroeste do Rio Grande do Sul, entre os meses de junho a outubro de 2022. Nas atividades, usou-se recursos metodológicos de apresentações audiovisuais, livro lúdico, atividades práticas de higiene, construção de banners e dinâmicas com a temática sobre a higiene. Resultados: Os alunos fizeram-se participativos durante as atividades, participando das dinâmicas propostas e realizando questionamentos acerca das informações compartilhadas. O uso de metodologias lúdicas permitiu a participação ativa dos escolares durante a construção do conhecimento dos mesmos acerca da importância da higiene do corpo, saúde bucal e alimentação. Considerações finais: Revela-se a importância de atividades de educação em saúde nas escolas, uma vez que oportuniza a discussão sobre a higiene e a saúde, possibilitando a conscientização e mudanças dos hábitos destes.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Objective: To report extensionist actions through health education practices developed by students of the undergraduate nursing course with children and adolescents in the school environment. Methodology: This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, about the activities carried out in the extension project “Health education as possibilities for the care of children and adolescents with disabilities”. The extensionist actions were developed in two public schools in the urban area of the northwest region of Rio Grande do Sul, between the months of June and October 2022. In the activities, methodological resources of audiovisual presentations, ludic book, practical hygiene activities were used, construction of banners and dynamics with the theme of hygiene. Results: The students participated during the activities, participating in the proposed dynamics and asking questions about the shared information. The use of ludic methodologies allowed the active participation of students during the construction of their knowledge about the importance of body hygiene, oral health and food. Final considerations: The importance of health education activities in schools is revealed, as it provides opportunities for discussion about hygiene and health, enabling awareness and changes in their habits.
