AÇÕES E CUIDADOS DE ENFERMAGEM DIANTE DAS TERAPÊUTICAS AO IDOSO COM ALZHEIMER
A Doença de Alzheimer (DA), é
uma forma de demência, que afeta o idoso e
compromete sua integridade física, cognitiva
e social. É degenerativa, progressiva e
variável, com declínio continuo ligados à
percepção, aprendizagem, memória, raciocínio,
funcionamento psicomotor e ao aparecimento de
quadros neuropsiquiátricos com manifestações
graves. Desta forma, o conhecimento das
necessidades dos idosos com Alzheimer
é necessário para uma sistematização da
assistência de enfermagem individualizada.
A pesquisa objetiva descrever as principais
ações e cuidados de Enfermagem diante das
terapêuticas ao idoso com Alzheimer. Tratase
de uma pesquisa bibliográfica, descritiva e
quantitativa, com materiais científicos produzidos
entre 2010 e 2017, através da Biblioteca Virtual
de Saúde (BVS), Scientific Eletronic Library
Online (SciELO) e Google Acadêmico. Foram
encontrados e tabulados 9 diagnósticos de
enfermagem sendo estes: Memória prejudicada,
Confusão crônica, Risco de quedas, Negação
ineficaz, Nutrição prejudicada, Mobilidade
física prejudicada, Autocuidado prejudicado,
Comunicação prejudicada e Baixa autoestima
crônica. 3 principais terapêuticas prestadas
ao idoso sendo estas: Terapia psicossocial,
Terapia psicomotora e Terapia medicamentosa.
Dentre as ações de enfermagem 7 principais
foram identificadas, sendo: Orientação familiar,
Prevenção de acidentes, Preparação para
morte, Estimulação cognitiva, Estruturação do
ambiente, Orientação nutricional e Estimulação
da independência.: O profissional deve se
atualizar e acompanhar a evolução de novas
discussões, pois a partir do conhecimento
técnico e científico, a enfermagem se torna
capaz de encontrar a resolutividade para
alguns diagnósticos de enfermagem levantados
e assim, prescrever ao paciente e à família
orientações importantes que poderão intervir na
melhora do prognóstico.

Abstract:
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a form of dementia, which affects the elderly
and compromises their physical, cognitive and social integrity. It is degenerative,
progressive and variable, with continuous decline linked to perception, learning,
memory, reasoning, psychomotor functioning and to the appearance of neuropsychiatric
pictures with severe manifestations. Thus, knowledge of the needs of the elderly
with Alzheimer’s is necessary for a systematization of individualized nursing care.
The objective of this research is to describe the main actions and nursing care in the
treatment of elderly people with Alzheimer’s disease. It is a descriptive and quantitative
bibliographical research, with scientific materials produced between 2010 and 2017,
through the Virtual Health Library (VHL), Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO)
and Google Scholar. 9 nursing diagnoses were found and these were: Impaired memory,
Chronic confusion, Risk of falls, Ineffective denial, Impaired nutrition, Impaired physical
mobility, Impaired self-care, Impaired communication and Low chronic self-esteem.
3 main therapies provided to the elderly being: Psychosocial Therapy, Psychomotor
Therapy and Drug Therapy. Among the 7 main nursing actions were identified, being:
Family counseling, Accident prevention, Death preparation, Cognitive stimulation,
Environmental structuring, Nutrition counseling and Stimulation of independence .: The
professional must update and follow the evolution of new discussions , since from the
technical and scientific knowledge, the nursing becomes able to find the resolution
for some nursing diagnoses raised and thus, prescribe to the patient and the family
important orientations that can intervene in the improvement of the prognosis.
