AÇÕES DE INVESTIGAÇÃO CIENTÍFICA COM CRIANÇAS DA EDUCAÇÃO INFANTIL
Os processos de investigação científica devem ser fomentados desde a Educação Infantil com o intuito de aproximar a infância com a cultura científica. Com enfoque qualitativo e perspectiva de estudo de caso, estruturou-se uma Sequência de Ensino Investigativa para as crianças da Educação Infantil com 5 anos de idade. Ao término desse processo, o registro final das crianças foi analisado com base em eixos temáticos referentes ao “conhecimento do ser vivo estudado e os materiais utilizados”. Foi possível perceber que os registros foram capazes de comunicar as atividades realizadas durante o processo de investigação, no que diz respeito ao ser vivo estudado e aos materiais utilizados. A aproximação das Ciências com a Educação Infantil pode contribuir para a formação integral das crianças e o engajamento com ações investigativas representa uma estratégia potente para a concretização desse processo.

Abstract:
The processes of scientific investigation must be fostered since Early Childhood Education aiming to approximate childhood closer to scientific culture. With a qualitative approach and a case study perspective, an Inquiry-Based Teaching Sequence was structured for five-year-old children in Early Childhood Education. By the end of the process, the children's final record was analyzed based on categories regarding “knowledge of the studied living creature and materials used”. It was possible to perceive that the registers were able to communicate the activities presented during the investigation process, concerning the studied living creature and the materials used. The proximity of Science and Early Childhood Education can contribute to the integral formation of children and the engagement with investigative actions represents a powerful strategy for the realization of this process.
