ACESSIBILIDADE ARQUITETÔNICA: UMA REFLEXÃO SOBRE A RESIDÊNCIA UNIVERSITÁRIA NO NORDESTE BRASILEIRO.
: A acessibilidade é um direito obrigatório garantido pela Constituição Federal, de modo que os espaços construídos devem promover total liberdade de locomoção e inclusão social. Assim sendo, o presente trabalho é resultado de uma análise técnica acerca da acessibilidade na residência universitária da Universidade Federal Rural do Semi-Árido (UFERSA), Centro Multidisciplinar de Pau dos Ferros. O objetivo foi analisar a infraestrutura com relação à acessibilidade arquitetônica da residência universitária. O percurso metodológico baseou-se em uma revisão bibliográfica construída a partir de autores que abordam a temática, assim como documentos e normas regulamentadoras. O segundo momento foi composto por observações sistematizadas e verificação da acessibilidade através de Check list subsidiada pela Jornada de Campo. A partir dos dados obtidos, constatou-se irregularidades e descumprimentos dos critérios da normatização que trata da acessibilidade. Conclui-se que há a necessidade de rever os projetos das edificações que compõem a universidade, fiscalizando rigorosamente a aplicação dos princípios do Desenho Universal, garantindo que os alunos/residentes possam usufruir com conforto e segurança de todos os espaços construídos, garantindo o acesso livre e sem restrições.

Abstract:
ABSTRACT: Accessibility is a mandatory right guaranteed by the Federal Constitution, so that the built spaces must promote total freedom of movement and social inclusion. Therefore, the present work is the result of a technical analysis about accessibility at the university residence of the Federal Rural University of the Semi-Arid (UFERSA), Multidisciplinary Center of Pau dos Ferros. The objective was to analyze the infrastructure in relation to the architectural accessibility of the university residence. The methodological path was based on a bibliographic review built from authors who address the theme, as well as documents and regulatory standards. The second moment consisted of systematic observations and verification of accessibility through a Check list subsidized by the Field Day. From the data obtained, it was found irregularities and non-compliance with the criteria of standardization that deals with accessibility. We conclude that there is a need to review the designs of the buildings that make up the university, strictly supervising the application of the principles of Universal Design, ensuring that students / residents can comfortably and safely enjoy all the built spaces, ensuring free access and without restrictions.
