Este trabalho trata-se de um relato de experiência sobre a ação de Educação em Saúde realizada com escolares da Escola Municipal Professora Maria Augusta Lopes Ferreira, em Santo Antônio de Jesus, Bahia, sobre a prevenção de verminoses. O objetivo da atividade foi abordar a temática de maneira lúdica e consonante com a realidade socioeconômica, cultural e epidemiológica do Recôncavo da Bahia. Participaram crianças de ambos os sexos, com idades entre 05 e 12 anos, além dos professores que estavam presentes no momento. A metodologia utilizada foi a apresentação de uma peça teatral infantil, seguida de diálogos com alguns questionamentos a fim de integrar os participantes e melhorar sua compreensão sobre o tema abordado. A peça “O que é que isso, Melissinha?” foi apresentada pelos discentes do componente curricular Processos de Apropriação da Realidade II (PAR II), do curso Bacharelado Interdisciplinar em Saúde, da Universidade Federal do Recôncavo da Bahia o qual teve, entre seus objetivos, trabalhar com a comunidade, inserindo-se em sua realidade e construindo saberes compartilhados. A experiência possibilitou aos discentes conhecer a realidade em que vivem as crianças da comunidade, bem como seu nível de compreensão sobre as medidas de prevenção de doenças parasitárias, além de proporcionar a experiência de desenvolver uma atividade lúdica de educação em saúde e enriquecendo a prática acadêmica com conhecimento.

  This work is an experience report on the action of Health Education carried out with students from the Municipal School Professor Maria Augusta Lopes Ferreira, in Santo Antônio de Jesus, Bahia, on the prevention of worms. The objective of the activity was to approach the theme in a playful manner and in line with the socioeconomic, cultural and epidemiological reality of the Recôncavo da Bahia. Children of both sexes, aged between 05 and 12 years, participated in addition to the teachers who were present at the time. The methodology used was the presentation of a children's play, followed by dialogues with some questions in order to integrate the participants and improve their understanding of the topic addressed. The play “What's that, Melissinha?” was presented by the students of the curricular component Processes of Appropriation of Reality II (PAR II), of the Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Health course, at the Federal University of Recôncavo da Bahia, which had, among its objectives, working with the community, as part of their reality and building shared knowledge. The experience enabled students to learn about the reality in which children in the community live, as well as their level of understanding of measures to prevent parasitic diseases, in addition to providing the experience of developing a playful health education activity and enriching academic practice. with knowledge.
