Este artigo refere-se à parte de

um projeto de pesquisa de dissertação do

Programa de Pós-Graduação Profissional em

Ensino da Universidade Estadual do Norte

do Paraná. Aborda as temáticas Educação

Ambiental e Sustentabilidade, desenvolvidas

por meio de Temas Geradores na perspectiva

Freireana. Este estudo objetivou apresentar

uma proposta de intervenção pedagógica em

uma escola de nível fundamental I, detalhando

as seis etapas de seu desenvolvimento a serem

aplicadas no contexto escolar com o propósito

de possibilitar aprendizagens significativas à

comunidade escolar e à comunidade local.

Utilizamos também a abordagem teórica da

Educação Ambiental Crítica e Emancipatória,

que visa formar sujeitos que possam atuar

criticamente transformando a realidade em que

vivem, cooperando para as transformações

socioambientais. Temos a expectativa de que

o aporte teórico-metodológico possa ser efetivo

na prática escolar e na vivência cotidiana da

comunidade do entorno, integrando os cidadãos

e despertando-os para a aplicabilidade dos

conceitos de sustentabilidade e ambiente.

Abstract:
This article is about part of a

research involving a project of the Professional

Postgraduate Program in Teaching of the State

University of the North of Paraná. It addresses

the themes of Environmental Education and

Sustainability, developed through Generative

Themes in the Freirean perspective. This study

aimed to present a proposal for pedagogical

intervention in a primary school, detailing the

six stages of its development to be applied in

the school context with the purpose of enabling

meaningful learning to the school community and

the local community. We also use the theoretical

approach of Critical and Emancipatory

Environmental Education, which aims to form

subjects that can act critically by transforming

the reality in which they live, cooperating for

social and environmental transformations.

We expect that the theoretical-methodological contribution can be effective in school

practice and in the daily life of the surrounding community, integrating the citizens and

awakening them to the applicability of the concepts of sustainability and environment.
