Abstract: Objective: This study aims to investigate, based on the literature, the interprofessional approach as a means of understanding the evolution of breast cancer mortality in young women. Methodology: A literature review with a descriptive approach was conducted. To clearly define the key elements of the research question and guide the selection of studies for inclusion in the review, the PICOS strategy was employed. Scientific evidence was searched in PubMed, SCIELO, Scopus, Science Direct, Embase, and BVS databases using MeSH terminology. Studies were pre-selected through the reading of titles and abstracts, and subsequently analyzed and data were extracted. The sample of this study comprised 03 original articles published between 2019 and 2023, utilizing data from studies conducted in Brazilian states. Results: It was observed that optimizing early diagnosis, effective treatment, and comprehensive support is crucial. Additionally, there is a need to enhance not only the understanding of the evolution of breast cancer mortality in young women but also to positively impact prevention, treatment, and support. These strategies aim to significantly influence the oncological care policy directed at this specific group. Conclusion: In conclusion, it is crucial to direct investments towards preventive measures focused on key risk factors, along with establishing parameters for public policies aimed at reducing notification disparities among the more disadvantaged regions.
