ABORDAGEM DA TEMÁTICA SEXUALIDADE COM MULHERES NA TERCEIRA IDADE: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Objetiva-se descrever a vivência
de estágio de uma acadêmica de enfermagem
frente ao questionamento sobre a vida sexual
de mulheres idosas durante a realização de
consulta e coleta de citologia oncótica, refletindo
sobre a percepção das mesmas ao serem
expostas a temática sexualidade e o papel do
enfermeiro em promover educação em saúde
sexual na terceira idade. Apontando que a forma
como as mulheres vivenciaram a sexualidade
ao longo da vida influenciam diretamente na
percepção de sua sexualidade na velhice.
Estudo descritivo de caráter narrativo do tipo
relato de experiência em estágio voluntário em
uma Estratégia de Saúde da Família. Diante das
reações e respostas obtidas no questionamento
reflete-se que consequente a um histórico social
de repressão sexual feminina e uma visão
contemporânea preconceituosa sobre sexo na
terceira idade é comum que essas mulheres
atribuam caráter de emancipação sexual a essa
fase da vida, porém observa-se que é possível
vivenciar e gostar de sexo depois dos 60, pra
isso é necessário desfazer o estigma imposto
pela sociedade e enxergar o idoso como um
ser integral, entendendo a sexualidade como
parte inerente e indissociável do ser humano.
O enfermeiro tem nisso um importante papel,
visto que é o principal mediador de educação
em saúde na atenção primária, porém ainda
encontra o tabu como barreira, necessitando,
junto à sociedade, reformular seu julgamento
sobre a terceira idade e a sexualidade para,
assim, poder intervir sem preconceito e
proporcionar educação em saúde sexual aos
idosos na mesma proporção que nas demais
faixas etárias.

Abstract:
The objective is to describe the internship experience of a nursing student
facing the questioning of the sexual life of elderly women during consultation and
collection of oncotic cytology, reflecting on their perception when exposed to the theme
sexuality and the role of nurse in promoting sexual health education in old age. Pointing
out that the way women experienced sexuality throughout life directly influence the
perception of their sexuality in old age. This is a descriptive narrative study of the type
of voluntary experience report in a Family Health Strategy. Given the reactions and
answers obtained in the questioning, it is reflected that as a result of a social history of
female sexual repression and a prejudiced contemporary view on sex in old age, it is
common for these women to attribute a character of sexual emancipation to this phase
of life. If it is possible to experience and enjoy sex after 60, it is necessary to undo the
stigma imposed by society and see the elderly as an integral being, understanding
sexuality as an inherent and inseparable part of the human being. The nurse has an
important role in this, since he is the main mediator of health education in primary care,
but still finds the taboo as a barrier, needing, along with society, to reformulate his
judgment on the elderly and sexuality to, thus, be able to intervene without prejudice
and provide sexual health education to the elderly in the same proportion as in other
age groups.
