A XENOFOBIA CONTRA MIGRANTES E REFUGIADOS VENEZUELANOS ESTIMULADA PELA DESINFORMAÇÃO DA IMPRENSA BRASILEIRA
A crise humanitária pela qual a Venezuela passa gerou intenso fluxo migratório na América Latina. No Brasil, migrantes e refugiados têm provocado conflitos que muitos meios de comunicação difundem, em regra, superficial e incorretamente, do que resultam conceitos destorcidos e desinformação. O objetivo deste artigo é apontar a influência da imprensa na concepção que muitos brasileiros constroem da situação dos migrantes e refugiados venezuelanos no Brasil, resultando muitas vezes no fomenta da xenofobia.

Abstract:
The humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is going through has generated an intense migratory flow in Latin America. In Brazil, migrants and refugees have caused conflicts that many media outlets, as a rule, superficially and incorrectly, result in distorted concepts and misinformation. The purpose of this article is to point out the influence of the press on the conception that the Brazilian population constructs of the situation of Venezuelan migrants in Brazil, showing that it often fosters xenophobia.
