A VIAGEM DAS IDEIAS E O PROCESSO DE INFERIORIZARÃO DO OUTRO ESTRANGEIRO NA MIGRAÇÃO VENEZUELANA PARA RORAIMA
Há alguns séculos algumas ideias
percorrem espaços próximos ou distantes,
ligando pessoas e épocas, tornando-se
predominantes e influenciando o modo de ver,
sentir, agir e pensar dos homens. Entre essas
ideias, está a de que o “outro”, o estrangeiro, é
um ser inferiorizado em relação à capacidade
física e/ ou mental, social. Este estudo faz uma
discussão a partir do texto “A viagem das ideias”,
de Renan Freitas Pinto, traçando uma relação
entre as ideias formadas sobre os povos do
Novo Mundo e os migrantes que atravessam
fronteiras no mundo contemporâneo em
busca de melhores condições de vida, nesta
pesquisa, especificamente, os venezuelanos
que migraram a Roraima para fugir da crise
econômica, política e social que abala seu país
de origem. Para pensarmos sobre uma temática
tão complexa e abrangente como esta, fez-se
necessário delimitarmos nossa pesquisa às
notícias do G1 Roraima, publicadas no ano de
2016, para lançarmos nosso olhar a um caso
em particular: a midiatização dos processos
migratórios dos venezuelanos para Roraima
e a forma como a audiência se refere ao
estrangeiro venezuelano por meio da análise
dos comentários nestas notícias. Estima-se
que 50 mil pessoas atravessaram a fronteira do
extremo norte do Brasil e que cerca de 7,5% da
população de Boa Vista, capital de Roraima, seja
formada por migrantes. Para tanto, apoiamos
esta pesquisa em estudos de pesquisadores
como Pinto (2005), Montaigne (2007), Campos
(2010?), e Dutra (2001, 2009).

Abstract:
For some centuries, some ideas
have traveled in or near spaces, connecting
people and epochs, becoming predominant and
influencing men’s way of seeing, feeling, acting
and thinking. Among these ideas is that the
“other”, the foreigner, is a being inferior to the
physical and / or mental, social capacity. This
study makes a discussion from Renan Freitas Pinto’s “The Journey of Ideas”, drawing a
relation between the ideas formed about the peoples of the New World and the migrants
who cross borders in the contemporary world in search of better living conditions, in
this research, specifically, the Venezuelans who migrated to Roraima to escape the
economic, political and social crisis that shook their country of origin. To think about a
theme as complex and comprehensive as this, it was necessary to delimit our research
to the G1 Roraima news, published in the year 2016, to take a look at a particular case:
the mediatization of the migratory processes of the Venezuelans to Roraima and how
the audience refers to the Venezuelan foreigner by analyzing the comments in the
news. It is estimated that 50,000 people crossed the border of the extreme north of
Brazil and that about 7.5% of the population of Boa Vista, capital of Roraima, is made
up of migrants. For this, we support this research in studies of researchers such as
Pinto (2005), Montaigne (2007), Campos (2010?), And Dutra (2001, 2009).
