A UTILIZAÇÃO DAS TICS COMO FERRAMENTAS DE PERPETUAÇÃO DA CULTURA INDÍGENA
Estudos indicam que, ao incorporar elementos da cultura ocidental, o indígena acaba perdendo sua identidade, e consequentemente seus processos culturais e educacionais. Muito se julga ao vê-lo usufruindo das tecnologias criadas em meio à industrialização, e pesquisadores tentam provar que a assimilação da cultura ocidental acarreta na tomada de um lugar secundário de sua originalidade em relação ao que a civilização lhe oferece. Por meio de revisão bibliográfica de revistas científicas, este artigo propõe desmitificar que a utilização das TICs seja fator determinante para esse processo, podendo ser utilizada como ferramenta de preservação de seu patrimônio cultural. A partir desta pesquisa pode-se perceber que as TICs não só auxiliam na manutenção de sua cultura materna, como também oferece uma visão mais positiva da participação do indígena na “sociedade em rede” (CASTELLS, 1999, p.497 apud FEITOSA, 2017, p. 89), e que o discurso popular que envolve TICs e cultura indígena detém uma certa tentativa de estereotipação desses povos.

Abstract:
Some studies indicate that indigenous peoples lose their identity when incorporating elements of the Western culture (Occident), and also lose their cultural and educational processes consequently. They are widely judged because they can manipulate technologies created in the midst of industrialization, and researchers try to prove that the assimilation of Western culture results in taking a secondary place of their originality in relation to what civilization can offer to them. This article was written based on a literature review of electronic scientific journals and proposes to demonstrate that the use of ICTs as a determining factor for this process is a myth, and to show that they can be used as a tool to preserve their cultural heritage. It can be observed from this research that ICTs not only help to maintain their mother culture, but also offer a more positive point of view of indigenous participation in the "network society" (CASTELLS, 1999, p.497 apud FEITOSA, 2017 , 89), and that the popular discourse involving ICTs and indigenous culture has a certain attempt to stereotype these people.
