Abstract: This article aims to bring the concept of transference cited by Sigmund Freud in his works containing discoveries that helped in better management within the psychoanalytic clinic. This bibliographical research is based on theoretical compilation from existing scientific sources, such as literary works and articles, given that its preparation is based on this collection. We see that the analyst faces the challenge of adequately dealing with the transference, maintaining neutrality to help the patient understand their feelings. The resistances during therapy, defense mechanisms against painful unconscious material, represent another obstacle. The resistance of "positive" transference occurs when the patient projects loving feelings onto the analyst, trengthening bonds and facilitating therapeutic communication. We see that in psychoanalytic clinic, transference plays a crucial role, being a complex phenomenon in which patients project unconscious feelings towards the analyst. That Dynamics creates a special therapeutic field, enabling the exploration of past emotions and experiences. A Transference is a powerful tool in investigating and reshaping interaction patterns and latent conflicts, providing deep and impactful therapy. Understanding the mechanisms of transfer opens up space for a greater understanding of oneself and psychological growth of the patient.
