A crescente preocupação com
as questões ambientais tem demonstrado a
importância da preservação dos ecossistemas.
Nesse contexto, a execução de projetos que
objetivem a restauração florestal aumentou
consideravelmente nas últimas décadas;
infelizmente, a maioria deles fracassam, pois
foram mal planejados, utilizaram técnicas e
espécies inadequadas para o local degradado,
ou negligenciaram o monitoramento. Destarte,
é fundamental que o restaurador saiba elaborar
um bom projeto executivo e invista no processo
de avaliação, garantindo, assim, o sucesso da
restauração.

Abstract:
he concern about environmental
issues has shown the importance of preserving
ecosystems. In this context, the implementation
of projects aimed at forest restoration has
increased considerably in recent decades.
Unfortunately, most of them fail due they are
poorly planned, using techniques and species
unsuitable for the degraded site, or neglect
the monitoring. Thus, it is essential that the
restoration professional knows how to elaborate
a good executive project and invest in the
evaluation process, thus guaranteeing the
success of the restoration.
