A SEXUALIDADE NO DISCURSO DAS MÃES DE JOVENS COM DEFICIÊNCIA INTELECTUAL: UM ESTUDO SOB O DISCURSO DO SUJEITO COLETIVO
A sexualidade da pessoa com deficiência intelectual é rodeada de mitos, sendo os indivíduos vistos como seres assexuados ou que possuem uma exacerbação sexual. O objetivo deste estudo foi investigar a visão de mães de jovens com algum grau deficiência intelectual a respeito do tema sexualidade. Bem como vislumbrar as perspectivas futuras destas mães em relação à sexualidade dos filhos. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa, utilizando o discurso do sujeito coletivo. Os dados obtidos nos mostram que as mães possuem uma visão da sexualidade restrita aos aspectos sexuais e reprodutivos, excluindo seus aspectos afetivos, sociais e psicológicos. Quanto aos temas referentes à sexualidade humana, as mães demonstram ter ideias baseadas em suas criações, reafirmando várias vezes termos como: no meu tempo, antigamente, fui criada como se isso fosse errado, etc. Em relação aos filhos, notou-se uma expectativa de que tenham uma vida dita normal, que possam casar e ter filhos. Conclui-se que as mães de jovens com deficiência intelectual, participantes deste estudo, sabem da importância da educação sexual adequada dos filhos, mas se sentem despreparadas para lidar com tal assunto.

Abstract:
The sexuality of the person with intellectual disability is surrounded by myths with individuals being seen as asexual or having a sexual exacerbation. The aim of this study was to investigate the view of mothers of young people with some intellectual disability degree on the theme sexuality. As well as diagnose the future perspectives of these mothers regarding the sexuality of their children. It is a qualitative research, using the collective subject discourse. The data obtained show us that mothers have a view of sexuality restricted to sexual and reproductive aspects, excluding their affective, social and psychological aspects. Regarding the themes related to human sexuality, mothers demonstrate ideas based on their creations, repeatedly reaffirming terms such as: in my time, in the past, I was raised as if it were wrong, etc. Regarding children, it was noted an expectation that they have a so-called normal life, can marry and have children. It is concluded that the mothers of young people with intellectual disabilities, participants of this study, know the importance of proper sexual education of their children, but feel unprepared to deal with such issue.
