A SAÚDE MENTAL DE MULHERES EM RELACIONAMENTOS ABUSIVOS
Esta pesquisa tem como ponto de partida o interesse em investigar a saúde mental de mulheres em relacionamentos abusivos, através das consequências dessa relação. Nesse trabalho foi definida a pesquisa na modalidade de Pesquisa Prática de Campo, com abordagem quantitativa e qualitativa. Delimitou-se a pesquisa a relações abusivas, retratando o abuso do homem para com a mulher. Esse objeto de estudo foi pensado a partir das dinâmicas das relações de gênero, que se iniciou através da observação das relações sociais entre os sexos, onde distinções biológicas genitais resultaram em desigualdade social. Essa violência caracterizou-se como simbólica, surgindo como um conceito social do qual é abordado uma forma de violência, causando danos psicológicos e morais, sem força física. Associado à violência psicológica encontra-se o relacionamento abusivo, que é caracterizado com a perpetuação da violência através de via simbólica, ocorrendo de forma invisível e sutil, onde predomina o excesso de poder sobre o outro. Partindo desta noção, entende-se que inclui comportamentos não-físicos. Através da pesquisa pôde-se concluir que as consequências da relação abusiva se manifestam em todos os contextos da vida da mulher ao acarretar danos à saúde mental da vítima.

Abstract:
This research has as its starting point the interest in investigating the mental health of women in abusive relationships, through the consequences of this relationship. In this work the research was defined as a field practical research, with a quantitative and qualitative approach. The research was delineated to abusive relationships, portraying the abuse of the man towards the woman. This object of study was thought from the dynamics of the relations of gender, which began by observing the social relations between the sexes, where genital biological distinctions resulted in social inequality. This violence has been characterized as symbolic, arising as a social concept of which is approached a form of violence, causing psychological and moral damages, without physical force. Associated with psychological violence is the abusive relationship, which is characterized by the perpetuation of violence through a symbolic way, occurring in an invisible and subtle way, where the excess of power prevails over the other. From this notion, it is understood to include non-physical behaviors. Through the research it was possible to conclude that the consequences of the abusive relationship are manifested in all the contexts of the life of the woman in causing damages to the mental health of the victim.
