Este artigo analisa a rotatividade de policiais militares em unidades operacionais do Estado do Pará e seus efeitos na consolidação do policiamento comunitário. Objetiva-se identificar as causas da alta rotatividade e avaliar como a descontinuidade das equipes afeta o vínculo com a comunidade e a prevenção criminal. A pesquisa é qualitativa, baseada em revisão bibliográfica e análise documental de normativos da PMPA e estudos sobre gestão de pessoas na segurança pública. Conclui-se que a falta de planejamento de movimentação, a ausência de incentivos e a sobrecarga de serviço comprometem a proximidade polícia-cidadão e a eficiência preventiva.

  • Abstract: This article analyzes the turnover of military police officers in operational units in the State of Pará and its effects on the consolidation of community policing. The objective is to identify the causes of high turnover and assess how team discontinuity affects the bond with the community and crime prevention. The research is qualitative, based on bibliographic review and documentary analysis of PMPA regulations and studies on personnel management in public security. It is concluded that the lack of movement planning, absence of incentives and work overload compromise the police-citizen proximity and preventive efficiency.
