Abstract: Introduction: Nursing plays a fundamental role in promoting the health and education of adolescents, contributing to their integral development. Through preventive and educational actions, nurses articulate intersectoral strategies that strengthen well-being in this transition phase. Objective: To understand the role of nursing in health education aimed at adolescents in the school environment. Methodology: Research with bibliographic survey of the integrative review type. The publications were obtained through searches processed in the following databases: Scielo, Lilacs, BDENF, Medline and Google Scholar. Results: The results indicate that nurses are central to the implementation of the School Health Program (PSE) for adolescents, using intersectoral strategies to promote health, prevent diseases and ensure the effectiveness of actions. Final considerations: The active and educational role of nurses stands out, with attributions such as health assessment, educational actions and control of communicable diseases. However, there are gaps in the literature on the various actions carried out by the PSE.
