A REPRESSÃO DO GÊNERO LEGITIMADA PELA CULTURA MILITAR: uma visão através da Polícia Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro
Propôs-se uma análise crítica das relações de poder na Polícia Militar do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, pelo enfoque do gênero, objetivando identificar construções sociológicas de ordem sexistas no ambiente militar, perpetuadas através da baixa institucionalização do tema, do silêncio jurídico e da invisibilidade social dos grupos de gêneros não masculinos. Desenvolver-se-á um estudo de caso numa das primeiras instituições militares a receber mulheres na atividade-fim, testando o embasamento teórico. Para tanto, a fenomenologia, o método indutivo e um levantamento de campo com aplicação de 351 questionários, estruturados, mas com dois campos semiestruturados para enriquecimento qualitativo, revelaram múltiplas relações sujeito-objeto, evidenciando que trinta e seis anos de convívio, setenta anos da Declaração Internacional dos Direitos Humanos e vinte anos da vedação constitucional à discriminação por sexo, não impediram a cultura militar de continuar propagando visões sexistas em desfavor do ser humano profissional dentro da farda. Urge evoluir.

Abstract:
It was proposed a critical analysis of the relations of power in the Military Police of the State of Rio de Janeiro, by the gender focus, to identify sexist sociological constructions in the military environment, perpetuated by the low institutionalization of the theme, the legal gap and the social invisibility of non-male genres. A case study in one of the first military institutions to receive women in the final activity, testing the theoretical basis. For this, the phenomenology, the inductive method and a field survey through 351 structured questionnaires applied, but with two semi-structured questions for qualitative enrichment, revealed diferents relationships between subject and object, showing that thirty-six years of living, seventy years of the International Declaration of Human Rights and twenty years of the constitutional prohibition of gender discrimination didn’t eliminate military culture’s sexist visions, to the detriment of professional human inside the uniform. Evolve is urgent.
