A religiosidade no romance Perdição de, Luiz Vilela
O romance Perdição (2011), de Luiz Vilela tem como enredo a história de um pescador chamado Leonardo que é também conhecido como Leo. Casado e pai de uma menina. Na adolescência seu passatempo favorito, se não único, era pescar no lago, com o melhor amigo, Ramon. A narrativa é conduzida pelo Jornalista Ramon, narrador testemunha. A partir da história de um jovem pescador que se torna pastor evangélico. Luiz Vilela emprega o sagrado cristão, retomando figuras bíblicas. Destaca-se na narrativa o embate do cristianismo corrompido pela religião. Um dos dilemas vivenciado pelo personagem principal é a comercialização da fé. O Romance é fortemente marcado pela dicotomia sagrado-profano. O homem em Perdição busca o sucesso, é um homem que confronta o sagrado e opta por uma compreensão profana da religiosidade. Os elementos estéticos do sagrado e do profano são estabelecidos de modo bastante radical pela banalização da fé, por meio desta, Luiz Vilela evidencia a constituição do homem em ruínas. Abstract:
The novel Perdição (2011), by Luiz Vilela, has as its plot the story of a fisherman named Leonardo who is also known as Leo. Married and father of a girl. As a teenager, his favorite, if not only, hobby was fishing in the lake with his best friend, Ramon. The narrative is led by Journalist Ramon, witness narrator. From the story of a young fisherman who becomes an evangelical pastor. Luiz Vilela employs the sacred Christian, taking up biblical figures. The clash of Christianity corrupted by religion stands out in the narrative. One of the dilemmas experienced by the main character is the commercialization of faith. The Romance is strongly marked by the sacred-profane dichotomy. The man in Perdition seeks success, he is a man who confronts the sacred and opts for a profane understanding of religiosity. The aesthetic elements of the sacred and the profane are established in a very radical way by the trivialization of faith, through this, Luiz Vilela highlights the constitution of man in ruins.
