A RELEVÂNCIA DO MOVIMENTO FEMINISTA E OS SEUS REFLEXOS NA SOCIEDADE CONTEMPORÂNEA

O conceito de empoderamento é ambíguo e, por sua crescente difusão, possui múltiplos significados. Portanto, quando se trata da luta por um espaço maior e igualitário de deliberação, é preciso ter cautela ao analisar a condução e o desenvolvimento dessa luta. Este trabalho busca desenvolver questões relacionadas ao empoderamento da mulher na atualidade, a importância de estratégias para eliminar as desigualdades de gênero e como as ações realizadas a partir do processo de empoderamento coletivo podem criar novas realidades e trazer as mulheres à vida. Antes dessa configuração, na década de 1960, os movimentos feminista e negro nos Estados Unidos da América passaram a usar o termo "autorização" como mecanismo de luta pela libertação de seus corpos. Esse marco histórico é imprescindível para a divulgação dos movimentos sociais em todo o mundo, mas não se limita a isso. As questões de empoderamento são levantadas em ambientes como a mídia e o próprio Banco Mundial. Este artigo examina a história do uso do termo empoderamento e aponta a relevância do conceito de empoderamento coletivo defendido pelas feministas latino-americanas. Com base nesse modelo coletivista, criticou o projeto de lei e as políticas públicas propostas pelo Banco Mundial com base no pressuposto do individualismo. Então, chegou à conclusão de que se as feministas coletivistas aprenderem a abrir estrategicamente o caminho para o Banco Mundial subverter a ordem de seu individualismo, então mudanças sociais reais e de longo alcance podem ocorrer.

Firstly, it should be noted that the concept of empowerment is ambiguous and, due to its increasing diffusion, has multiple meanings. Therefore, when it comes to the struggle for a greater and egalitarian space for deliberation, care must be taken when analyzing the conduct and development of this struggle. This work seeks to develop issues related to the empowerment of women today, the importance of strategies to eliminate gender inequalities and how actions taken from the collective empowerment process can create new realities and bring women to life. Before this configuration, in the 1960s, the feminist and black movements in the United States of America started to use the term "authorization" as a mechanism of struggle for the liberation of their bodies. This historical landmark is essential for the dissemination of social movements worldwide, but it is not limited to that. Empowerment issues are raised in environments such as the media and the World Bank itself. This article examines the history of the use of the term empowerment and points out the relevance of the concept of collective empowerment advocated by Latin American feminists. Based on this collectivist model, he criticized the bill and public policies proposed by the World Bank based on the assumption of individualism. So she came to the conclusion that if collectivist feminists learn to strategically pave the way for the World Bank to subvert the order of their individualism, then real and far-reaching social changes can occur.
